Newest Purchase

I received my newest photography purchase this past Friday.

I bought a light box and the lights to create the 'perfect' light which is 5000K. What the heck is 5000K you're asking...well if I remember correctly it is the equivalent to the sunlight at noon on a sunny summer day, but the good thing about the light box is it takes away the harsh shadows from the sun. There's of course much longer and more detailed descriptions on the net but this is my short version.

I am working on finding a table so I can set it up in my office (at home) and I was missing one of the stands but that should be coming in a couple days! I am so excited to experiment with it!! I think my husband might secretly be excited too since he was looking at some elses pictures online and I said I can do that with my new 'toy'!

Millersburg Ferry

I just heard of this for the first time and thought it was neat. I never knew there was a working ferry on the Susquehanna River. I bet there's beautiful views of the river from on the ferry!!

Wildwood Lake

I've recently discovered how beautiful it is at Wildwood Lake. It's a great place to take a nice stroll (or harder walk). I was there with a friend and we were both taking our camera's out for an early spring walk around the lake. We found Red Winged Black Birds, a Crane, a bunch of Canada Geese (where some of my previous pictures were taken), gulls, and a lot of plump robins! The above are pictures from our latest trip.
